I retired from computer programming in 2010 and I’ve been happily taking care of pets and walking dogs since 2013 when I took over a Snaggle Foot franchise from my daughter. I love animals and I grew up with many dogs, cats, horses, and turkeys on a ranch in Northern California. I now live in Connecticut with my husband Tony, who is a good sport when I come home with a dog or two.
I like walking, being outside, and handling the dogs. I also enjoy the opportunity to do inside visits with the kitties, bunnies, reptiles, and birds.
I like running my own business and having the opportunity to provide excellent customer service which is very rewarding to me. I’ve been able to put together an excellent team of pet care/dog walking individuals and together we are making Snaggle Foot very successful in the Greater New Haven area.
Scott, lives in Seymour, and has been with me since August 2013, longer than anyone else. He is in the Marine Corps Reserves and his main job is working in security.
Scott helped me build Snaggle Foot from a couple of clients to well over 100 in the first year alone. Although he’s busy with his other job and the Marines, he always makes time to help us out when we are having a crunch, especially around the holidays.
Wendy, my assistant manager, has been with me since January 2014. She lives in Oxford with her husband and two children and she is a busy stay-at-home mom who works with us while her kids are in school during the day.
Wendy has 2 dogs of her own, an Italian greyhound and a rescue greyhound, and she’s very attached to the dogs she walks too.
Wendy is an awesome asset for our Snaggle Foot operation!
Anthony is our dog whisperer. He loves dogs – dogs love him. It all works out really well.
Anthony lives in Seymour and is studying to be a respiratory therapist. His studies take him to New Haven and he has become our main walker there.
Anthony often goes beyond the call of duty to take care of last minute requests – it is much appreciated!
Jim is our newest addition and has been with us since March 2015. He lives in Shelton and is a retired UPS driver.
Jim is very dependable and he does a great job with the dogs – even the really big ones! He already has his favorite walks and we’re hoping he will be with the Snaggle Foot family for a long time!
